Speed dating in short:
Speed Dating’s popularity has been growing ever since it was introduced in the late 1990s. 10 men and 10 women gather together in a bar or club. In the course of the event you have a short (8 minute) date with each person from the opposite sex. After each round you write down on a special card if you want to meet that person again or not. When the event is over the hosts gather all the cards and later on exchange contacts where there is mutual willingness for a second date. It’s social, it’s dating and it’s fun!
We organize Speed Dating events for English speaking people in Sofia. The participants are mainly expats who live in Bulgaria and Bulgarians who have lived abroad or work in an international environment.

At the venue you will be welcomed by our hosts. They will seat you and give you detailed information about the upcoming event. The official start of the event is given when all participants are seated on tables for two. Each “round” lasts 8 minutes and its end is marked by a special signal (a ring or a bell). After the end of first meeting ladies stay at their table and gentlemen move to the next one. At the end of the Speed Dating you have dated all the women (if you are a man) or all the men (if you are a woman).
The hosts will give you a special card. Use it to mark who you are willing to meet again. Give your card to the hosts at the end of the event. The organizers process the results and within the next 48 hours exchange contacts between the matches.
